Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Cordes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Tommy Gunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jorge Cordes!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cordes's calf.

Gunn shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Gunn misses with a wild combination.

Cordes shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gunn manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Cordes wants to clinch up but Gunn keeps it at a distance.

Gunn does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jorge Cordes was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Cordes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Cordes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
