Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mack Phace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phace has chosen "Undecided" by Silverchair as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phace fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Phace shows good takedown defense.

Silva is looking to clinch but Phace is avoiding it.

Silva darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Silva cracks Phace with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Phace from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Phace just trying to survive but Silva is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Phace manages to reverse the position and now he's in Silva's guard. Nice work there by Phace.

Phace keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Silva's head.

Mack Phace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Silva counters with a shoot takedown. Phace fights it but they end up in guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Phace can do anything to dispel that myth.
Silva won't allow Phace to get back to his feet.

Silva wants to get up but he can't break Phace's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
