The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooke throws a series of punches but Carter avoids them all with ease.
Carter thows a left - swing and a miss!
Carter lands the left hand.
Carter misses with a leg kick.
Carter takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hooke throws a hook but Carter blocks it.
Carter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Carter looks to land a left hand but Hooke moved out of range nicely.
Carter moves away from the strike by Hooke.
Hooke misses with an uppercut

so Carter counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carter has isolated one of Hooke's arms. Hooke looking to fight him off but Carter twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
