Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mandy Brandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sgt Parrotface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sgt Parrotface is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Sgt Parrotface!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Brandy keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Parrotface.
Sloppy strikes from Brandy. Those never looked like landing.

Sgt Parrotface seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brandy lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Brandy thuds his right hand into Parrotface's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Brandy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Parrotface.

Brandy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Parrotface walks away with a smile on his face. Brandy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Brandy is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brandy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Brandy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Parrotface has time to react.

and Parrotface counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Parrotface is working for a kimura but Brandy is defending it quite comfortably.
Brandy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Parrotface is working away from the top position though.
Parrotface is looking for a kimura but Brandy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Parrotface to get the leverage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parrotface is working for a submission of some sort.

Parrotface is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Brandy trying to hold on to Parrotface's head to control him but Parrotface postures up.
Parrotface stops Brandy from getting back to his feet.
Brandy wants to control but Parrotface is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Brandy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Brandy is looking to control Parrotface's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brandy avoid being mounted?
Parrotface throwing shots but Brandy is blocking nicely.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Parrotface passes into side control, despite Brandy's attempt to control the position.
Brandy is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Parrotface's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Parrotface throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Brandy tries to lock up and control but Parrotface gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Parrotface landing strikes, looking to finish!
Brandy tries to reverse the position but Parrotface maintains control.
Parrotface goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Brandy turns into him and now he's in Parrotface's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Brandy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Parrotface manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brandy has Parrotface in his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Brandy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Parrotface.
Parrotface takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Brandy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Parrotface.
Brandy's jab looks to have found its range, popping Parrotface under the eye.
Brandy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Brandy ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Brandy lands a really nice looking cross but Parrotface seems unphased.
Parrotface takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Parrotface throws a right hand that misses
and Parrotface takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Brandy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Parrotface paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brandy stuffs the takedown.
Parrotface is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brandy lands a nice hook to Parrotface's body. Parrotface takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Brandy lands a jab to Parrotface's midsection.

Brandy's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Brandy duly obliges.
Brandy lands with a straight right. Parrotface didn't see that one coming.
Brandy throws a right and a left that Parrotface avoids nicely.

and Brandy counters with a lovely shot to the body.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Parrotface is rocked!
Brandy closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Parrotface! Brandy dives in looking to finish! Parrotface is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
