Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Flemming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sascha Kroener (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kroener has chosen Eisblume - Eisblumen as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kroener looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Flemming looking for a sweep. Not yet Flemming, not yet.
Flemming throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Flemming keeping moving, preventing Kroener from controlling successfully.
Flemming throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Flemming seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flemming will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Kroener wants to control from the top but Flemming keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kroener fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Flemming has his takedown stuffed
and Kroener counters with a one-two to the body.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kroener shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Flemming's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Flemming is on top in guard.
Flemming stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kroener swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kroener wants to sweep here but Flemming controlling him for the moment.

Flemming is working Kroener over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Flemming counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kroener won't be happy with that.
Flemming cracks Kroener with a big right hand but Kroener just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Flemming creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kroener sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Kroener is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Flemming off and has taken his back!
Kroener just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Kroener is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Flemming won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Kroener off his unconscious opponent!
