The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Perrett.

Zela shoots in and bounces Perrett off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Zela trying to control the position from guard on top but Perrett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Zela seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Perrett is looking to escape.

Perrett pushes Zela off looking to stand but Zela dives back in and keeps control.
Zela is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Zela works his foot free and advances to mount.
Zela is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Perrett can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Zela cracks Perrett with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Perrett can do anything to dispel that myth.
