Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gassey Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesper Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Stand up like a hurricane. Rush is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tom Sawyer - Rush. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rush stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jack lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jack connects with a single shot there.
Jack jabs Rush right on the nose. Rush blinks but takes it well.
Jack scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Rush counters with a nice uppercut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jack darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jack throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rush counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A punch combination from Jack misses.
Rush fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jack looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nice shot lands for Jack.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jack throws a lazy uppercut
and Rush counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rush scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Rush swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jack cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Rush takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rush takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jack fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rush manages to avoid it.
Rush uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jack.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rush lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jack has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jack and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Jack throws a combination that misses
and Rush counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jack is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Jack's corner calls for a 1-2. Jack obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Rush. Those never looked like landing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jack darts in and clinches Rush up against the cage.
Rush tries to break the clinch but Jack is controlling the position.
Rush tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jack just leaning against Rush, taking a breather.
Jack creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Jack misses with the head strike.
Rush on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

and Rush counters with a stiff right hand.
Jack rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rush counters with a head kick. That will keep Jack thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Jack throws a good cross that connects.
A low kick from Rush is predictable there
and Jack counters with a two punch combo.
Jack throws a right and a left that Rush avoids nicely.
Jack throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jack misses with an uppercut. Rush saw that one coming.
Jack lands a nice hook to Rush's body. Rush takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Rush counters with a thumping low kick.
Rush fails with the takedown.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
