Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie O Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darius Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eddie O Hare!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darius Parker!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Hare dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Parker. That did some damage!
The fight stays on the outside here - O Hare looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Parker is looking to stand but Parker has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
O Hare wants to hold on but Parker pushes him away.

O Hare lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Some bone on bone action there as O Hare checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

O Hare shoots in looking for a takedown. Parker tries to sprawl out of it but O Hare keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Parker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

O Hare closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

O Hare thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
O Hare wants to control for a moment but Parker uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Parker is staying active underneath O Hare, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

O Hare is taking a breather. Parker says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Parker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. O Hare looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

This has been an exciting period of action!

O Hare bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
O Hare tries to score with some ground and pound. Parker controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

O Hare tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no O Hare has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Parker throws a jab when O Hare was well out of range.
O Hare moves in looking to clinch but Parker pushes him off.

and O Hare counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
O Hare throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
O Hare throws the left hand but Parker avoids the punch easily.

and O Hare counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Parker stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from O Hare.

O Hare explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

O Hare fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Parker walks forward, straight into a front kick from O Hare.
Parker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

O Hare is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Parker to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Parker shrugs it off.

O Hare is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Parker has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Parker!

O Hare drops back, looking for a kneebar! Parker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Parker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Parker!

Parker wants to stand but O Hare is controlling his arm.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
