Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Micah Magnum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franco Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimenez looks to clinch
and Magnum counters with a straight right hand.
Jimenez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Magnum counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Magnum is looking to slow Jimenez down with leg kicks.

Magnum fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jimenez, pushing him back against the cage.
Magnum lands a nice elbow.

Magnum gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Magnum slips a nice elbow through Jimenez's hands, connecting with Jimenez's forehead.
Jimenez has hold of Magnum's hands but Magnum slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jimenez tries to roll over but Magnum keeps him under control.
Magnum is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Magnum wants to take a breather but Jimenez is having none of it.

Magnum wants to work for an arm triangle but Jimenez is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Jimenez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Magnum pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Magnum stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jimenez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Magnum keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jimenez's head.
Jimenez utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Magnum slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

A big shot lands for Magnum! That's hurt Jimenez! Will he recover? Magnum fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
