The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grobar shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Grobar passes the guard and advances to mount!
Grobar controlling his opponent.
Ivan is desperately trying to improve his position but Grobar has a good base and remains in mount.

Grobar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Ivan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Grobar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Grobar pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Grobar is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ivan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ivan shrugs it off.
A nice elbow there by Grobar.
Grobar tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Grobar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Grobar working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Ivan turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Grobar off and cradles Ivan's limp body as Grobar celebrates with his corner.
