Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Ivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artisan Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivan misses with a right hand
and Robinson counters with a stiff right hand.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ivan as he avoids it easily.
Ivan misses with a body punch

and Robinson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ivan's guard now.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Robinson is stalling in the full guard.
Robinson trying to control but Ivan is working from the bottom.

Ivan has his foot on Robinson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Robinson works his way back into a safe position though.
Robinson wants to control from the top but Ivan keeps moving.
Robinson stands and throws Ivan's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Robinson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Robinson advances to mount.

Ivan is looking to improve his position but Robinson isn't that keen on the idea.
Ivan tries to hold on but Robinson pushes him away.
Ivan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ivan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Robinson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ivan is looking to escape.

Robinson looking to secure an arm triangle but Ivan defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ivan working to try and regain half guard.
Robinson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Let's hope that Robinson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Ivan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Robinson on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Robinson has control of Ivan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ivan regains control of the situation pretty easily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Artisan Robinson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Robinson looks to land a combination but Ivan avoids it well.
Ivan misses with a shot to the body
and Robinson counters with a three punch combo that has Ivan backing up. Ivan nods at Robinson to acknowledge the strikes.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

and Robinson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ivan's knee momentarily.
Ivan lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Artisan Robinson has been cut.
Ivan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ivan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Robinson lands a jab.

It looks like Boris Ivan has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ivan throws a right hand that misses
and Robinson counters with an outside leg kick.
Ivan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ivan throws an off balance right hand
and Robinson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Boris Ivan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ivan misses with a body shot
and Robinson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ivan thinking.
Robinson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Ivan misses with a right hand

and Robinson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ivan's guard now.
Robinson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Robinson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Robinson seems to have locked his on tight now - Ivan screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Robinson, as he picks up the win!
