The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gluckiy pivots, looking for a leg kick but Rucinski is out of range and Gluckiy settles back down.
Rucinski checks a leg kick nicely.
Rucinski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gluckiy as he jumps to the side.
Gluckiy swings away with a leg kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Gluckiy counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Rucinski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Rucinski slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Gluckiy throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Rucinski pushes down on Gluckiy's leg and manages to get into half guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Karol Rucinski hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Rucinski stands and throws Gluckiy's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Rucinski has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Gluckiy is defending well but eventually Rucinski manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Gluckiy has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
