Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Pump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tate comes to the cage accompanied by U got 2 know. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pump misses with an uppercut
and Tate counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tate fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pump misses with a double jab
and Tate cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tate showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pump.

and Tate counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Pump keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Tate has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Pump looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

It looks like Vinny Pump has been cut.
Tate will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Tate stops Pump from getting back to his feet.
Tate passes to full mount!

Tate swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Pump is now in Tate's guard. A big mistake from Tate there, giving up the dominant position!

Tate is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Tate pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pump throws a one two combo.

Pump tries to sprawl but Tate drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Pump throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

and Tate decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pump's guard.
Tate not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Tate sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pump's guard.

Tate is controlling the pace.
Tate wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pump keeps working.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Patrick Tate wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Tate lands a head shot.
Tate shoots in for a double leg but Pump sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vinny Pump is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Tate looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pump!

Tate lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Tate controlling the pace for now.

That has opened up Vinny Pump's cut even more.
Tate can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pump is looking to escape.
Tate lands a big shot there that rocks Pump but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The cut above Vinny Pump's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vinny Pump's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
