Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michichi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kay throws out the jab.
Kay stuffs the takedown.
Kay moves into the clinch.
Kay escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kay throws a series of punches but Michichi avoids them all with ease.
Kay just misses with a punch to the body.
Oooooh!!! Kay has knocked Michichi down with a huge combo! Kay steps away and waves a wobbly Michichi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Nakitu Michichi has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kay throws a body punch but Michichi moves out of range.
Kay leaves Michichi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kay throws a right hand that Michichi ducks under and follows up with a left that Michichi also avoids with ease.
Michichi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kay to the mat! Kay manages to get full guard.

Kay wants to get back to his feet but Michichi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Kay has control of Michichi's left arm, preventing Michichi from doing any damage.
Michichi tries to free his leg and advance position but Kay is retaining full guard.

Michichi advances to half guard.
Michichi is trying to work for a kimura but Kay is defending well.
Michichi is trying to control the action in half guard but Kay is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Kay tries to get to full guard but Michichi has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Michichi throwing shots but Kay is blocking nicely.

Kay wants to get back to his feet.
Michichi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Michichi stops Kay from standing up.
Michichi throws a big right hand that misses.

Michichi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kay works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Michichi wants to pass the guard but Kay is keeping the position.
Michichi throws a strike but Kay rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Michichi throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kay uses it to pass to side control.
Michichi is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Michichi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kay is working away from the top position though.
Kay wants to stand up but Michichi is controlling the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Michichi trying to hold on to Kay's head to control him but Kay postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Nakitu Michichi's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kay takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Michichi loses concentration momentarily and Kay pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Michichi crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Kay finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
