PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean Pelletier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Corn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pelletier has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corn shoots in looking for a takedown. Pelletier tries to sprawl out of it but Corn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pelletier manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A combination from Pelletier does no damage.
Pelletier catches Corn with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Pelletier just misses with a punch to the body.
Corn fails in his attempt to clinch.

Corn throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pelletier tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Corn is in Pelletier's guard.

Corn is nestled in close to Pelletier, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Corn might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pelletier kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
