Galati has chosen Anarchy in the UK as his entrance music. Pavel Galati will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galati misses with a takedown
and Verdun counters with a stiff right hand.
Galati gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Verdun counters with a straight right hand.
Verdun shoots in for a takedown but Galati shows good takedown defense.
Galati tries for a takedown but Verdun circles away easily

and Verdun decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Galati's guard.

Verdun cracks Galati with a solid left hand.
Verdun postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
