Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dag Guti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolai Drago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dag Guti!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guti cracks Drago with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Guti has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Drago to stand back up!


Drago is rocked!


It looks like Nikolai Drago has been cut.
Guti doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Drago to counter with a crisp jab.
Oh Drago is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Drago moves out of range as Guti strikes.
Drago seems to have got his legs back now.
Guti fails with the takedown
and Drago connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Guti ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Drago closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Guti to the mat! Guti manages to get full guard.

Drago got a little sloppy there for a moment and Guti has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Drago has managed to get both his arms back between Guti's legs - danger averted.
Drago trying to control the position from guard on top but Guti is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Guti has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Drago can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Drago stands up from Guti's guard - Drago perhaps looking for a knockout.

Drago closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Drago lands in his opponent's guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Guti wants to stand up but Drago is controlling him.
Drago is pushing down on Guti's leg trying to pass to half guard. Guti is fighting to maintain full guard but Drago has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Drago scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Drago is looking for a kimura but Guti is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Drago to get the leverage.

Drago is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Guti sees it coming and defends easily.
Drago controlling the action here.
Drago not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Drago takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Drago is working for a submission of some sort.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Guti is staying active underneath Drago, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Drago landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Drago is looking to take a break and control but Guti is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Drago prevents Guti from improving his position.

Drago is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Drago lands strikes from half guard.
Drago seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Guti does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Guti pushes Drago off looking to stand but Drago dives back in and keeps control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Guti is trying to get back to full guard.

Guti bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Drago looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Guti!

Guti sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Guti is trying to stand.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Drago is trying to control. Guti wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Guti tries to roll over but Drago keeps him under control.

Drago decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

and Drago counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Guti trying to hold on to Drago's head to control him but Drago postures up.

Drago is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Guti is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
