The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhymes wants to clinch up but jojo keeps it at a distance.
jojo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No luck for jojo with that takedown attempt.
Rhymes slips a jab and a cross from jojo.
Rhymes showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from jojo.
jojo throws a series of punches but Rhymes avoids them all with ease.
jojo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A punch combination from jojo misses.
jojo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rhymes.
jojo misses with a wild combination.
jojo looks for a takedown but Rhymes sprawls well.
jojo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No joy there for jojo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
jojo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rhymes throws a leg kick but jojo checks it.

Rhymes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. jojo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rhymes in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Rhymes decides to stand back up. Rhymes steps back and let's jojo get back to his feet.

Rhymes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Rhymes is working to tighten is grip on jojo's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. jojo has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rhymes is really squeezing tight and eventually jojo passes out! Rhymes breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
