The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zloyev missing with a left hand there. Mannross was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Mannross closes the distance and pushes Zloyev back into the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Zloyev.
Zloyev lands a nice uppercut.
Mannross tries to score a body lock takedown but Zloyev shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Mannross is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Zloyev misses with the head strike.
Mannross prevents a body shot from Zloyev.

Mannross breaks from the clinch.
Zloyev lands a nice shot to the body.
Mannross uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zloyev.
Zloyev thows a left - swing and a miss!
Zloyev will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Zloyev swings for the body but Mannross moves out of range.
Mannross looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zloyev is fending him off so far but Mannross persists. Nope, Zloyev circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jan Mannross. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Zloyev misses the shot to the body.

Zloyev gets caught flat footed, as Mannross shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mannross postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mannross loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Zloyev pushes a forearm under Mannross's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Mannross is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
