The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boon misses with the combination.
Boon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Holly defends it nicely.
Boon misses with a double jab
enabling Holly to counter with a crisp jab.
Holly looks to throw the jab but Boon is out of range.
Boon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Holly.
Boon falls off balance throwing a combination
and Holly counters with a one-two to the body.
A jab lands there for Holly.
Boon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Holly counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Holly connects with a jab.
Boon shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Boon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Holly lands a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Horrible takedown by Boon or perhaps it was just good defense by Holly which made him look bad.
Boon is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Holly lands a nice hook to Boon's body. Boon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nice uppercut there from Holly.
Holly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Holly lunges at Boon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Boon's hand.

Boon is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Boon. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Holly tries to clinch up but Boon circles away and keeps his distance.
Holly scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Oh Boon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boon get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Boon stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Holly runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
