The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pollard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sambo as he jumps to the side.
Sambo lands with a slapping head kick.
Pollard looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Pollard closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sambo counters with a leg kick.
Sambo thumps Pollard with a low kick.
Sambo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pollard.
Pollard shoots in for a takedown but Sambo shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Louis Pollard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pollard takes a kick to the side of the head.
Sambo lands a head kick!

Pollard swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sambo counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Pollard throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Pollard is breathing heavily.
Sambo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Pollard is rocked!
Sambo circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Pollard drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Sambo follows Pollard to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
