Beefheart has chosen Yellow Snow as his entrance music. Rory Flannagan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Captain Beefheart's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Captain Beefheart!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beefheart thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Flannagan if he has to take too many more of those.
Flannagan throws a poor cross that misses

and Beefheart counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Flannagan!

Beefheart is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Flannagan has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Rory Flannagan will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Flannagan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
