Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Goodspeed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Foley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foley cracks Goodspeed with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Foley throws a leg kick that is checked
and Goodspeed counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Foley throws a series of strikes that have Goodspeed backpedaling.
It looks like Stanley Goodspeed has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Foley feints a jab promting Goodspeed to slip. Foley then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Goodspeed slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Goodspeed throws a hook to the side of Foley's head but Foley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Goodspeed scores with the left hand. Foley knows he should have avoided that one.
Foley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Goodspeed throws out the jab.
Foley throws a good cross that connects.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Foley counters with a left and a right that stings Goodspeed.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Goodspeed moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Mick Foley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Foley motions for Goodspeed to come forward. Foley throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Foley lands a nice hook to Goodspeed's body. Goodspeed takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mick Foley hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Let's hope that Foley has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
