Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ukko Isoukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fidu Paa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Isoukko comes to the cage accompanied by Battering Ram. Ukko Isoukko had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Isoukko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A swing and a miss from Isoukko.
Paa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Isoukko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

so Paa counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Paa controls Isoukko momentarily but Isoukko frees himself.
Paa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Isoukko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Paa wants to get back to his feet but Isoukko is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Paa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Isoukko walks away with a smile on his face. Paa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Isoukko lands with a nice body kick.

Paa has closed the distance and engaged Isoukko in a clinch.
Isoukko blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Isoukko has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Paa avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Isoukko stands and steps away. Paa gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Isoukko rushes Paa and presses him up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Paa's face as he tries to break the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Paa just misses with a elbow thrown towards Isoukko's brow.
Paa tries to pull guard but Isoukko holds him up against the cage and eventually Paa drops back down to his feet.
Isoukko throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Paa blocks it with crossed arms.
Paa blocks an elbow strike from Isoukko.
Isoukko lands a damaging elbow.

Isoukko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Paa shoots in and drives through. Isoukko sprawls well.
Paa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Paa wants it to stay on the feet.

Paa takes the fight into the clinch.
Isoukko misses with a knee strike.
Paa changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Isoukko fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Paa shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Isoukko manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Paa avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Paa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Paa wants to pass to mount but Isoukko is defending the position.
Paa stops Isoukko from getting back to his feet.
Isoukko is looking for a sweep. Paa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Fidu Paa was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Isoukko has taken the fight to the clinch.
Paa blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Paa gets control of Isoukko's arms and successfully pulls guard. Paa will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Paa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Isoukko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Paa somewhat.

Paa has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Isoukko clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Paa is trying to stick to Isoukko's back but Isoukko is turning into Paa. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Paa's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Isoukko.

Fidu Paa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Paa takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Paa moves into the clinch.
Isoukko tries for a takedown but Paa manages to get underhooks.
Isoukko drops down looking for an ankle pick but Paa pulls his leg out and moves away.
Paa shoots in for a takedown but Isoukko shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Paa winds up and cracks Isoukko with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Paa perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Paa is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Isoukko is defending well though. Paa let's go of the attempt for now.
