PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jared Litton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spencer Jorgenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorgenson has chosen Made You Look by Nas as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorgenson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Litton's hands.
Litton is looking to score with low kicks.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jorgenson wants to stand but Litton has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Litton slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jorgenson has his foot on Litton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Litton works his way back into a safe position though.

Litton drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jorgenson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Litton has Jorgenson in his guard.

Litton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jorgenson on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Spencer Jorgenson was stalling too much, according to the referee.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jorgenson enables Litton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jorgenson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Jorgenson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Litton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jorgenson throws out a loose jab but Litton uses good head movement to avoid it.
Litton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jorgenson's waist but Jorgenson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Litton off to one side.
