The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kettering tries for a takedown but Walker circles away easily
enabling Walker to counter with a crisp jab.

and Walker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Luke Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Kettering.

It looks like Billy Kettering has been cut.
Kettering wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Walker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Walker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kettering eats them both and turns towards Walker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Walker wants to clinch up but Kettering keeps it at a distance.

and Walker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kettering is trying to break free.

Walker pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walker wants to get back to his feet but Kettering is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Kettering throwing strikes from guard but Walker blocks nicely.

Kettering drops back looking for a leg! Walker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Walker manages to kick Kettering off! Kettering jumps back into Walker's guard.

Luke Walker dominated that round.

That's time! Walker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Kettering looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walker is fending him off so far but Kettering persists. Nope, Walker circles away and we're back to standing.
Kettering throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walker's waist but Walker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kettering off to one side.
Walker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kettering moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Walker tries to clinch up but Kettering circles away and keeps his distance.
Kettering shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Walker defends it nicely.

Kettering tries to clinch but Walker moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kettering looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Walker.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kettering shoots in looking for a takedown. Walker tries to sprawl out of it but Kettering keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Walker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Walker counters with a slapping leg kick.
Luke Walker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Walker pulls guard.
Kettering pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Walker is keeping the position for now.
Kettering postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kettering drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kettering jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kettering wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving.

Kettering drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kettering as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Walker screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kettering! Nice submission victory there!
