The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Pod. McCriux does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pod lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McCriux circles away quickly and effectively.
Pod misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Pod tries to move into range but McCriux moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Logan McCriux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pod misses with a head kick.
Pod lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as McCriux backs up against the cage.
Pod looks to land a body kick but McCriux moved away.
McCriux lands with a slapping head kick.
McCriux works over Pod's head and body with a nice combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McCriux throws a nice outside leg kick.
Pod is breathing heavily.
McCriux looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Pod shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McCriux defends it nicely.
McCriux misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pod swings away with a body shot that misses
and McCriux counters with a nice leg kick.
McCriux throws a head kick that half lands.
McCriux lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pod backs up against the cage.
McCriux lands with a big right hook that stumbles Pod - he's out on his feet here! McCriux follows up with another monster hook that separates Pod from consciousness! Pod falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! McCriux stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
