The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sugarol throws a lazy uppercut
and Kone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sugarol swings and misses with a shot to the body
letting Kone counter with a right hand.
Kone throws a shot from downtown. Sugarol moves away and avoids it.
Sugarol misses with an uppercut
and Kone counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kone moves out of range as Sugarol strikes.
Sugarol takes a swing at Kone's ribcage but misses.
Kone scores with a punch to the head.
Good standup being displayed there by Kone as he connects with a hook.
Sugarol fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kone manages to avoid it.
Sugarol blocks a low kick nicely.

Sugarol fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Sugarol connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sugarol throws a right hand that misses
and Kone counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sugarol thinking.
Good exchange - Sugarol coming out on top.
Kone misses with a jab to the body
letting Sugarol counter with a right hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sugarol misses with a lunging right hand
and Kone rattles Sugarol with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Sugarol tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Kone dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Sugarol stiff and motionless on the mat!
