Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiratio Takedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe has chosen Big Mac as his entrance music. Big Joe will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joe sends Takedo crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Joe is motioning to the referee to let Takedo up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Takedo is rocked!

It looks like Hiratio Takedo has been cut.
Joe throws a left and a right that both miss
and Takedo counters with a nice uppercut.
Oh Takedo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Hiratio Takedo has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Takedo has hold of Joe's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Joe manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Takedo misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Joe prevents Takedo from taking his back.

Takedo has an Americana. Joe didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Takedo is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Takedo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
