Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Primon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Krun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Krun counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Primon's guard now.
Krun postures up and lands a big shot to Primon's brow.
Krun stands up over Primon, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Krun is working Primon over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Primon takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Krun has hold of Primon's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Primon tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Krun cranks the arm and Primon screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Primon, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
