Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Dess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Haim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haim has chosen Days as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haim takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dess throws a low kick but Haim avoids it.
John Dess seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dess finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Haim on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Haim shoots in and bounces Dess off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Haim pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dess is keeping the position for now.
Haim trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Dess manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Haim looking for a guillotine here but Dess defends easily.

Haim has a closed guard, preventing Dess from standing up.

Haim escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dess gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Haim working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dess doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Haim is tightening it up a little... Dess has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dess reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dess taps out! nice BJJ there by Haim!
