Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Demoss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Eugene Kalivas!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demoss wants to clinch.
Demoss scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Kalivas throws a leg kick but Demoss checks it.
A punch combination from Demoss misses.
Demoss is looking to clinch.
Kalivas is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Demoss.
Demoss doesn't manage to clinch there - Kalivas circles away.

Demoss moves into range and clinches up with Kalivas.
Demoss throws a punch but it's blocked by Kalivas.
Demoss goes for a takedown attempt but Kalivas pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kalivas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Demoss as he avoids it easily.
Kalivas throws a leg kick
and Demoss counters with a nice body kick.
Decent striking displayed by Demoss there.
Demoss tries to clinch but Kalivas moves away

so Kalivas counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Kalivas decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Demoss, up you get!
Demoss wants to clinch but Kalivas slips to the side

and Kalivas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Demoss's guard now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kalivas postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Kalivas throws a big right hand that misses.
Demoss on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Demoss tries to get out of the position.

Kalivas working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Demoss is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kalivas is controlling him.
Kalivas loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Demoss is looking to stand up but Kalivas isn't so interested in that idea.

Demoss has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kalivas off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Kalivas throws a jab but it's blocked by Demoss.
Demoss tries to clinch but Kalivas moves away

and Kalivas counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Demoss!

Kalivas looking for a guillotine from mount but Demoss is having none of it.
Kalivas lands a heavy elbow.
Demoss tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Kalivas has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Demoss's face.

It looks like Mike Demoss has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Demoss is trying to escape the mount.
Demoss is breathing heavily.
Kalivas pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Kalivas postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Demoss badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Kalivas around the waist but Kalivas pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Kalivas is the winner by TKO! Kalivas jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
