Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Evans throws a hook but Russo blocks it.
Russo has a takedown stuffed.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Russo.
Russo shoots in for a takedown but Evans shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rampage Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikey Russo.
Evans jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Mikey Russo has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Russo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Evans.
Evans tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Russo was well out of range. Poor timing from Evans.
Evans thows a left - swing and a miss!
Evans cracks Russo with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Russo looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Evans finish him?
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Russo is defended easily by Evans.
Evans misses with a body shot.
Evans throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Russo throws a jab when Evans was well out of range.
Evans lands a big uppercut and Russo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Russo looks OK. Evans waves Russo back to his feet!
Russo looks gassed!
A looping hook to the body misses from Evans. Russo does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
No joy there for Evans, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sloppy strikes from Evans. Those never looked like landing.
Evans feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Russo sprawling to the canvas! Russo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Evans finish him?!
Russo is rocked!
Russo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Evans.
Evans lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Russo circles away quickly and effectively.
Evans throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Russo walks into a jab.
Russo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Evans.
Rampage Evans is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Russo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Evans sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Russo somewhat.
Evans scores with a sloppy right hand. Russo should have avoided that one.
Evans fakes the body blow, causing Russo to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Russo goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
