Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Connor Cozad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoruba Ahimbe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahimbe has chosen "Hit em Up" Tupac as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cozad lands a glancing blow to the side of Ahimbe's head.
Ahimbe changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cozad looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ahimbe throws a strike aimed at the side of Cozad's head but Cozad avoids it well.
Cozad tries to buck Ahimbe off but Ahimbe is having none of it.
Ahimbe tries to advance to mount but Cozad denies him.
Ahimbe tries for a kimura but Cozad is defending well.

Ahimbe goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Cozad has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ahimbe but great work by Cozad.

Yoruba Ahimbe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Ahimbe closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Ahimbe stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Cozad throws up his legs and catches Ahimbe in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Ahimbe tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Cozad! That came out of nowhere!
