The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frnas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Magamedov.
Magamedov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Frnas has his takedown stuffed

and Magamedov counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Magamedov.
Magamedov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Magamedov jumps into guard, dragging Frnas to the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Magamedov is working an open guard so Frnas takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
