The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Artois tries to keep at a distance but Hussain has taken the fight into the clinch.
Artois stalls.
Artois tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hussain avoids it.
A bit of stalling here from Hussain.

Hussain pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Artois scores with a push kick.

Artois forces Hussain back against the cage and clinches.
Artois prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hussain tries to pull guard but Artois holds him up against the cage and eventually Hussain drops back down to his feet.

Artois manages to break the clinch.
Artois is looking to clinch but Hussain is avoiding it.
Hussain shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Artois sprawls well. Artois wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hussain gets slowly back to his feet.
Stella Artois has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rajin Hussain.
Hussain drops his hands momentarily and Artois takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A left and a right from Artois both land. Nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Artois loads up with a big shot that hurts Hussain! He's pulled Artois in close but Artois has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Hussain survive? More strikes from Artois and Hussain is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
