The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacquiao misses with a combination
and Pacquiao takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shelter lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Pacquiao slips a jab and a cross from Shelter.

and Shelter counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Pacquiao won't allow Shelter to pass to mount.
Pacquiao knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shelter on the ground.
Still in half guard, Shelter seems content to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Anderson Shelter was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Pacquiao misses with a double jab

and Shelter counters by moving into the clinch.

Shelter tightens his grip and picks Pacquiao up, before dumping him to the ground. Pacquiao manages to land in guard.

Shelter pushes down on Pacquiao's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Shelter stands and throws Pacquiao's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Shelter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pacquiao has escaped the position, nice work there.

Shelter lands a few punches from side control.
Pacquiao tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Shelter is working to tighten is grip on Pacquiao's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pacquiao has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Shelter is really squeezing tight and eventually Pacquiao passes out! Shelter breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
