Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mak wants to clinch up but Sykes keeps it at a distance.
Sykes drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sykes works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Sykes trying to control the position but Mak is working away.
Sykes in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Sykes tries to score with some ground and pound. Mak controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Sykes is trying to move to mount but Mak reverses beautifully and ends up in Sykes's guard.
Sykes striking off his back but it's not causing Mak any problems.
Mak pushes down on Sykes's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Mak is thwarting Sykes's attempts to control the position.

Sykes won't allow Mak to pass to mount.
Mak is trying to control the action in half guard but Sykes is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Mak works his way into side control.
Sykes is not content to let Mak control the position.
Sykes is trying to control Mak's posture but Mak avoids it.
Sykes tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mak advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mak wants to take his opponent's back but Sykes doesn't allow it.
Mak is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sykes can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Mak pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Sykes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mak on the ground.
Sykes is breathing heavily.
Mak moves to the back position.
Mak is looking for the choke from the back position but Sykes is controlling his hands well.

Mak is trying to control but Sykes is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Mak is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Sykes is in real trouble.
Mak has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Sykes is defending well but eventually Mak manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Sykes has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
