The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Jay lands but Nestle takes it in his stride.

Jay rushes Nestle and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Nestle looking for a takedown.

Jay escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jay gets the takedown into side control.
Nestle is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jay wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nestle keeps working.
Jay working away.
Nestle tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jay wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Nestle misses with an elbow from the bottom.

Nestle tries to get back to half guard but can't.
You can see the frustration on Nestle's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Nestle sneaks back into half guard.

Nestle is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jay pulls his head out easily.

It looks like Jay is going to stand back up.
