Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
james has his takedown stuffed
and Train counters with a straight right hand.
Train lands a straight punch to the body, keeping james at a distance.
No luck for james with that takedown attempt.
james tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Train manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

james feints and as Train raises his hands in defense, james changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
james trying to control the position from guard on top but Train is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Train wants to stand but james is controlling the position.
james engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

That's one minute gone in the round.
james stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Train swivels though and keeps the full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
james controlling from the top position.
james trying to control the position from guard on top but Train is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

OK we're going to have a standup here. ome james hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A jab lands there for Train.
james shoots for a takedown but Train saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Warren Train has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of ome james.
A jab from Train finds it's way through james's defenses.
Train avoids the head kick by james.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from james is defended easily by Train.
james walks into a left hand.
james tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Warren Train is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Train works james's body with a nice hook.
A jab from james misses.
james throws a jab but it's blocked by Train.
james has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from james there as he acknowledges the shot.
Train tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but james was well out of range. Poor timing from Train.
Train dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
james closes the distance looking to clinch
and Train counters with a right hand to the body.
Train lands a body shot.
Train punishes james's body with a nice straight punch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Train.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Train swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The crowd cheers as Train lands an impressive looking overhand right. james doesn't seem phased though.
Train rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but james moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Train scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
james throws a head kick that misses.
Train wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Train's jab looks to have found its range, popping james under the eye.
Train scores with a hook to the body. james takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
ome james seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Train connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
james darts in trying to clinch
and james takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Warren Train dominated that round.
That's time! Train's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Train scores with a shot to the body.
james closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

james drives through and clinches with Train against the cage.
james is trying to drag Train to the mat but Train just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
james has Train pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Train manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Train tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

james has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Train uses from the top position.
Train knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for james on the ground.
james has a closed guard, preventing Train from standing up.
Train is fighting to break james's control of his arms but james is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
james manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

james stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Train works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
james throws a half hearted mid kick.
Train fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches james on the side of the head.

Train gets underhooks to prevent james's takedown attempt.

Train presses james against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Train throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Train lands with a light punch inside.

Train works on james's body with a couple of short punches.
Train lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Train stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
A nice right hand lands inside from Train.
Train scores with a nice hook to the head.

Train lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Train.
Train scores with a hook to the body.
Train lands with a light punch inside.
Train lands a body punch in the clinch.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Train lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Train cracks james with an open hand slap.
james needs to keep his hands up - Train had a free shot at his head there.
james tries to clinch but Train moves away

Train jabs james right on the nose. james blinks but takes it well.

james gets tackled into the cage by Train. Train maintains the clinch.
Train lands with a short shot to the head.
Train lands with a light punch inside.
james is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
james drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
james takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Train is trying to force a seperation but james has the dominant position.
Still in the clinch, Train scores with a nice short uppercut.
james misses with a knee strike.
Train wants to break free but james has control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Train lands with a right to the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Train.
A head punch blocked on the inside by james.
james jumps guard but Train stands there with james around his waist. james gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Train lands a body shot in the clinch.
james goes for a takedown attempt but Train pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

james throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Train tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. james is in Train's guard.
Train wants to stand up but james is controlling him.
Train on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Train tries to get out of the position.
Train keeping moving, preventing james from controlling successfully.

james won't allow Train to get back to his feet.
Train preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Train is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst james is controlling him.
james stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Train swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Train, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
