Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonah Takalua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coronel Avas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coronel Avas will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avas doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Takalua counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Avas has his takedown stuffed
and Takalua counters with a straight right hand.

Takalua throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Avas tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Takalua is in Avas's guard.
