The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts keeps the fight on the outside.

Jenkins tries to sprawl but Roberts drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Roberts is keen to just control but Jenkins is a slippery customer.
Jenkins is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins regains full guard. Nicely done.
Roberts wants to stand but Jenkins is controlling his posture from full guard.

Roberts knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jenkins on the ground.

Roberts is fighting to break Jenkins's control of his arms but Jenkins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Roberts won't allow Jenkins to sweep him here.
Jenkins wants to stand and escape but Roberts is having none of it.

Jenkins pushes Roberts off and scrambles back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roberts wants to control but Jenkins passes into side.

Jenkins throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Jenkins swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Roberts is now in Jenkins's guard. A big mistake from Jenkins there, giving up the dominant position!

Jenkins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roberts doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roberts manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jenkins lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Roberts!

Jenkins looking to secure an arm triangle but Roberts defends it well.

Jenkins with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Jenkins goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Roberts is on top in guard.

Roberts stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jenkins.

Roberts gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jenkins to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Jenkins tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jenkins stands up and beckons Roberts to his feet.

Jenkins throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roberts was covering up waiting for the punch and Jenkins finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jenkins works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Jenkins decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Jenkins has Roberts up against the cage in a clinch.

Jenkins turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Jenkins has hold of Roberts's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Roberts tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jenkins cranks the arm and Roberts screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Roberts, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
