The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chiba throws a hook but Farplane blocks it.
Farplane slips under a jab from Chiba.
Farplane keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chiba.
Chiba cracks Farplane with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Wakka Farplane has been cut.
Farplane shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chiba defends it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chiba lands a jab to Farplane's midsection.
Chiba throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Farplane shoots in looking for a takedown. Chiba tries to sprawl out of it but Farplane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chiba manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chiba pounces like a tiger and cracks Farplane with a vicious hook! Farplane is down but not out! Chiba follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tetsuo Chiba!
Tetsuo Chiba is the new light heavyweight champion!
