The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gracie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gracie is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Williams rather than just go for the knockout.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gracie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Williams manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Gracie uses his free foot to push down on Williams's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Williams.
