Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson closes the distance but Powder moves to the side
and Powder counters with a nice uppercut.
Anderson fails with the takedown
and Powder counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Anderson connects with a leg kick. Powder looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Anderson doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Powder to counter with a crisp jab.
Anderson tries for a takedown but Powder circles away easily
and Powder counters with a stiff right hand.
Kikay Powder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Anderson.
Anderson throws a body kick that misses.

Powder wants to pass to mount but Anderson is defending the position.

Powderis looking to pass into half guard but Anderson pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Anderson is in guard.

and Powder counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Powder throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Anderson moves into full guard.
Anderson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Anderson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Anderson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Powder is trying to stand up here but Anderson is controlling him well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Powder pushes Anderson off looking to stand but Anderson dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Anderson is looking to take a break and control but Powder is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Anderson misses with a head shot. Powder uses the momentum to regain guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Powder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anderson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Powder keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Anderson's head.

Anderson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Powder is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kikay Powder.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Powder, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
