Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Willians Trautman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elvin Ruez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruez has chosen Face Breaker - Poison Pen as his entrance music. Elvin Ruez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trautman shoots and misses
and Ruez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Trautman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Ruez to counter with a crisp jab.
Trautman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ruez counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Ruez clinches.

Ruez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Trautman tries to pull guard but Ruez holds him up against the cage and eventually Trautman drops back down to his feet.

Trautman jumps guard and drags Ruez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Ruez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Willians Trautman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Trautman tries to pull guard but Ruez won't allow it.

Ruez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Ruez counters with a one-two to the body.

and Ruez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Ruez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ruez pushes down on Trautman's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Ruez is looking for a kimura here.
Trautman tries to get to full guard but Ruez has control of the leg.

Ruez is stalling here. Trautman is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ruez seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Trautman has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Trautman jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ruez is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ruez and Trautman has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
You can see the frustration on Ruez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Trautman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Trautman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Trautman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Elvin Ruez dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ruez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ruez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Trautman kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Elvin Ruez wasn't active enough on the ground.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Trautman has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ruez doesn't defend quickly enough and Trautman has managed to lock this one up! Can Ruez escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Trautman on a fantastic submission victory.
