Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garry Zimmermann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big McLargeHuge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimmermann fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McLargeHuge should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The fight stays on the outside here - McLargeHuge looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McLargeHuge throws a half hearted mid kick.
McLargeHuge fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Garry Zimmermann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zimmermann shoots in for a double leg but McLargeHuge sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Zimmermann avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McLargeHuge shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zimmermann pinned against the cage. Zimmermann gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
McLargeHuge throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

McLargeHuge will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

McLargeHuge pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zimmermann throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McLargeHuge's waist but McLargeHuge gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zimmermann off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Garry Zimmermann. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McLargeHuge moves into range and clinches up with Zimmermann.

Zimmermann is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

McLargeHuge wants to control but Zimmermann is keeping him busy.
McLargeHuge is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Zimmermann slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Zimmermann looking to hit a scissor sweep but McLargeHuge is one step ahead there.
McLargeHuge must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

McLargeHuge has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Zimmermann to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! McLargeHuge is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Zimmermann pulls down on the head and he's put McLargeHuge to sleep! This one is all over!
