Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zwer Lion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dennis Van der sar!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lion tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Van der sar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Van der sar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Lion pushes Van der sar off but Van der sar dives into side control.
Lion tries to improve position but can't.
Van der sar tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Lion is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Van der sar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lion keeps working.
Lion can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Van der sar is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lion is trying to escape and Van der sar transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lion is forced to tap! Nice work there by Van der sar! Very nice indeed!
