Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between oGG NoGG (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cecil B DeMille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). NoGG comes into the arena with Pantera : 5 Minutes Alone blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeMille wants to clinch but NoGG slips to the side
and NoGG counters with a stiff right hand.
DeMille closes the distance looking to clinch
and NoGG cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
DeMille thows a leg kick but NoGG checks it
and NoGG counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
NoGG misses with a shot to the body
and DeMille counters with a flying knee. Nice.

NoGG closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
DeMille scores with a nice hook to the head.

DeMille really doesn't want to stay on the ground with NoGG. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
NoGG uses his free foot to push down on DeMille's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for DeMille.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if DeMille can do anything to dispel that myth.
NoGG wants to control the pace but DeMille is squirming around nicely.
DeMille takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

NoGG bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

NoGG is looking to take a break and control but DeMille is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

DeMille tries to escape but NoGG is in control.

NoGG seems to be looking for submissions.

oGG NoGG overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

NoGG is working for a kimura but DeMille is defending it quite comfortably.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
NoGG postures up.
NoGG not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
NoGG pushes down on DeMille's leg and manages to get into half guard.
NoGG thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
NoGG has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
NoGG can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as DeMille is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

oGG NoGG dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

DeMille wants to land a leg kick but NoGG is out of range.
NoGG changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. DeMille tries to avoid it but NoGG manages to keep hold of a leg and drag DeMille to the ground. DeMille escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
NoGG dives in and grabs DeMille's left leg, looking for a takedown. DeMille pushes down on NoGG's head and hops out.

NoGG drives through and clinches with DeMille against the cage.
DeMille tries to land knees in the clinch but NoGG avoids the damage to the body.
NoGG tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for oGG NoGG. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

NoGG sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed DeMille's guard.

oGG NoGG is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

NoGG wants to free his trapped foot but DeMille is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
NoGG takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
NoGG moves into full mount! DeMille won't be happy about that!

NoGG has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
NoGG prevents DeMille from getting the reversal.
NoGG takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

oGG NoGG has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Well NoGG has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
