Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donald Draper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corleone has chosen The Godfather Waltz as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draper misses with a takedown attempt
and Corleone counters with a stiff right hand.

Corleone drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Corleone lands some shots froms side control.
Corleone working the ground and pound but Draper is defending the strikes.
Corleone working away.

Corleone decides to stand back up. Corleone steps back and let's Draper get back to his feet.
Corleone shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Draper counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Draper missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Draper misses with a head shot. Corleone uses the momentum to regain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Corleone seems keen to control Draper's posture.
Corleone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Draper controls from within his opponent's guard.
Draper has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Corleone wants to stand up but Draper is controlling him.
Draper throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Draper looking to sit in guard and control but Corleone gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Corleone is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Draper is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Draper has escaped and now he's on top!

Corleone keeping moving, preventing Draper from controlling successfully.

Corleone scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Corleone has a takedown stuffed.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Corleone fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Draper sprawls well initially but Corleone persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Corleone thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Draper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Draper tries to get out of the position.
Corleone throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Draper tries to roll over but Corleone keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sonny Corleone dominated that round.
That's time! Draper's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Draper with a poor takedown

and Corleone counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Draper controls Corleone momentarily but Corleone frees himself.
Corleone throws a big right hand that misses.
Corleone passes Draper's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Draper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Corleone on the ground.
Corleone thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Draper trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Corleone manages to pass to mount!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Draper is desperately trying to improve his position but Corleone has a good base and remains in mount.

Corleone working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Corleone trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Corleone lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Corleone looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Corleone looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Corleone breaks from Draper's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The referee warns Draper that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sonny Corleone has got the better of the ground game so far.
Draper holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Corleone tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Draper really wants to buck Corleone off and get back to his feet.
Corleone working the ground and pound effectively.
Corleone with shots to the head and body - Draper looks very uncomfortable down there.

Draper is rocked!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Corleone! Draper is hurt baaadly! Corleone is firing away with more strikes - Draper is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
